How it Works

Sellers Email or call us with a general description of the mount you would like to sell. Please include any photographs, measurements, scores sheets or other details you may have. We'll give you a realistic idea of what we believe we can sell it for. Then all you have to do is ship it to us. Or you can even drop it off at our store in upstate NY. We will take care of photographing your mount and writing a description. Then we may sell it in our retail store, on our websites, or auction it on eBay. When your item sells, we'll send you a check. It's that simple! We will manage the entire process, so you can just sit back and relax. We'll answer customer's questions, and process and collect payments. We will only bother you if we need additional information to answer a potential buyer's question. We'll pay for the advertising, eBay fees and other costs associated with the transactions from our commission. All items are fully insured for fire, theft, etc. from the time they arrive at our facility. We will ship your item securely to the buyer, and track all packages to make sure they reach their destination. All you have to do is get your item to us. We'll do the rest! Our commission is 33% of the final sale price. All advertising, photo, and listing costs will be incurred by us. We will determine the value of each piece and set a price on the item for consignment. We will have the authority to increase or decrease the asking price to facilitate a sale of all items at our discretion. If, after 1 year, the item has not sold in our store, or online, we will bring it to an auction and sell it. All items consigned to us will be sold. In the event that you wish to remove your item from consignment with us, there would a fee for our efforts and the costs that we would have already incurred. This fee would 25% of the estimated value of the item. Because we are a business that ships frequently we're often able to freight items at a lower cost. So if you would like to ship your items to us, we may be able to get a better rate for you. However, because of the sometimes high cost of shipping and crating, we are now offering an advertising only option as well. You can send us all photos and details, score sheets etc., and we will appraise the piece. After determining the value, we will request a 25% commission up front. We will then advertise your piece on our websites, which are advertised nationally. When your item sells, you'll handle the payment and delivery with the customer. By eliminating shipping the item to us, you will get all of the benefits of advertising that our large company has to offer, and we will take a 25% commission, instead of 33%. We will put up a listing in our store, and on our websites, excluding eBay, and will put over a hundred ads in 30-50 national publications. We will advertise your items for up to 1 year, at which time our advertising commitment will be terminated. If at anytime you decide you would rather ship it to us, that option will always be open, and the above 33% commission will apply. Buyers Payment must be received within 7 days of auction closing date. We accept all major credit cards, as well as PayPal. You may also send us a check or money order. Checks must clear before items can be shipped. NY state residents will be charged 7.75% sales tax. ShippingMost items can be shipped by UPS. Items that are too large to be shipped by UPS, such as moose heads, will have to be crated, and delivered by truck, with the freight charges will be paid COD. The cost of crating varies. Serious buyers may contact us for a rough estimate of freighting costs. We can usually get a good deal, because we ship often. The exact cost cannot be calculated until the item is crated, picked up, and weighed by the freight company. All items may be picked up locally, if preferred. Return Policy Once an item is sold, it cannot be returned. There are only two exceptions. We will accept the return of a mount only if it grossly differs from how it was described in the listing, or if you were sent the wrong mount. We describe all items and their imperfections to the best of our ability. Matters of opinion are just that, and not an automatic reason for return. You must contact us within 3 days of receiving the mount to request a return authorization or a refund will not be granted. |
